NACRA Cyber Quest Spring 2024:

During the week of February 19th, 2024, the North American Cyber Range Alliance (NACRA) is offering a series of hands-on interactive cybersecurity workshops (February 21st-24th)  AT  NO  COST.  The intent is to expose those interested in cybersecurity careers and those with experience in the field to the professional challenges that nation state and criminal adversaries present to those protecting our nation. 

Everyone is eligible to participate, including those in high schools, higher education, business/public professional practitioners, invited guests and the community.  These interactive workshops are made possible without cost through the generosity of  'Participating NACRA Organizations', and NACRA's  'Preferred Range Partners'.   

Participants are expected to abide by ethical and professional standards similar to those required of any professional workplace.

Security Capture the Flag


SKILL LEVEL – Those with the basic understanding of cyber security practices and tools.

Join us for a virtual Capture the Flag event where you’ll have the chance to work through both Red Team and Blue Team objectives in a race for high score and best time. Learn to leverage open-source intelligence tools to gather information about suspected intruders, work to penetrate the DMZ of a target enterprise network and simulate an attempt to hack the endpoint of a CxO to experience the cyber kill chain phases of reconnaissance, weaponization, delivery, exploitation, and techniques like social engineering, phishing, etc.

Cyber Resilience Workshop 


SKILL LEVEL – Beginner and Intermediate: Those with the basic understanding of cyber security practices and tools.

The Cyber Resilience Workshop (CRW) has been built based on the Cisco Security Integrated Threat Defense (ITD) architecture and solutions.  Students will experience life-like cybersecurity situations in a virtualized lab environment, where they play both roles of attacker and defender.  Utilizing an environment that models after enterprise networks, students will learn how their environments get compromised, security breaches get detected, and how to respond with maximum effectiveness.
